The President was an invincible and iron-willed brilliant commander who embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years, founded the immortal Juche idea and defeated two imperialisms in one generation and a peerlessly great man who devoted his all to the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, the strengthening of the socialist movement and the triumphant advance of the human cause of independence.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il set a brilliant example in the cause of perpetuating the memory of the President and has carried forward the revolutionary cause of Juche started by the President generation after generation with his unique Songun politics.

We are convinced that the Korean people will certainly achieve the cause of building a thriving socialist nation and the cause of the independent and peaceful reunification of the country, the behests of the President, under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il.
