The speech made by Hu Jintao at a meeting celebrating the anniversary made a scientific review of the feats performed by the party over the last nine decades and set forth important tasks to be fulfilled to raise the scientific level of party building and promote the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics under the new situation, he noted.
