S. Korean Minister of Unification of Creating New Department for Anti-north Operations
Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Hyon In Thaek, puppet minister of Unification of south Korea, was recently reported to have created a new department for "coping with crisis" inside his ministry. It is said that its main job is to work out and coordinate such plan as north-targeted Ulji war exercises.

Minju Joson Wednesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

Through this action Hyon's group disclosed by themselves their true colors as bellicose forces hell-bent on confrontation with fellow countrymen.

It goes on:

What merits a serious attention is that such department was created in the ministry of Unification, not inside the defense ministry.

There were many Hyon's predecessors in south Korea. But, no one has ever set up such department in the ministry. Traitor Hyon has done something unprecedented, adding to the unpardonable crimes committed against the Korean nation.

It was Hyon who worked out such script for confrontation with compatriots called "no nukes, opening and 3000 dollars" and let loose a whole string of outbursts defiling the north-south joint declarations and vituperation against fellow countrymen whenever an opportunity presented itself.

It is widely known that no sooner had Hyon taken office as minister of Unification than he suspended all the north-south dialogues and contacts, talking about "principled policy towards the north" and "waiting strategy" and put a brake on all inter-Korean cooperation undertakings under the pretext of cutting off "financial sources."

The north-south relations have gone to such pass that they are no longer repairable and his ministry has turned into a ministry of confrontation and a ministry for permanent division. All this would be unthinkable without his crimes.

Now that the ministry of Unification has turned into a war ministry, the north-south relations are bound to more rapidly deteriorate and the danger of war is bound to increase.
