Anniversary of Demise of Kim Il Sung Commemorated
Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Nepali newspapers dedicated special write-ups to the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The July 2 issue of a Nepali paper edited an article titled "Political Idea of President Kim Il Sung" accompanied with a portrait of the President.

The article noted that the life of the President was totally dedicated to the people.

The President devoted his all to the people, saying in his lifetime that the people are the best teacher.

The paper noted that the total length of the journeys made by the President for field guidance till the last period of his life since days after liberation is equal to the length to go round the earth 14 and half times and he visited a total of more than 20,600 units.

Arpan on July 1 and Nepal Today on July 2 carried special write-ups illustrated with a photo of the President and a photo of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu.

The newspapers in their articles introduced the Korean people working world-startling miracles in the drive for the building of an economic power remaining true to the last instructions of the President.

The June 30 issue of another Nepali newspaper carried photos of the President waging revolutionary activities. The paper in an article recalled that Kim Il Sung positively supported the anti-imperialist, anti-fascist national liberation struggle of the peoples of several countries and made a great contribution to the development of the Non-aligned Movement.

The immortal exploits of the President will shine forever, the newspaper stressed.
