Kim Il Sung Praised by Japanese Public Figure
Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Sumiko Shimizu, chairwoman of the Japanese preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and representative of the Japanese Women's Society for Solidarity with the Korean Women, said after visiting the DPRK:

I can never forget those days when I had the honor of being received by President Kim Il Sung.

I paid my first visit to the DPRK in 1972.

I was deeply moved to witness the reality of the DPRK.

All the people were busy energetically pushing forward socialist construction, united close around the President.

President Kim Il Sung, busy as he was with state affairs, received me and my party, fathoming our wishes.

He warmly shook the hand of each of us, his face beaming with a broad smile.

We were excited by his kind-hearted personality.

The President personally received us whenever we visited the DPRK in the subsequent period, too.

Each time I was received, I deeply felt he was the great leader of the people.

He was, indeed, a great man possessed of ardent patriotism and humanity as his inborn disposition and an eternal leader of progressive mankind.

His life was a life of the most distinguished great man who made an immortal contribution to accomplishing the human cause of independence.

Human history knows no such leader as President Kim Il Sung.

He will always be alive in the hearts of all people as the smiling President just as the sun shines eternally.
