South Korean Organization Asserts Rev. Han's Innocence
Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- The south Korean "Society for Preserving June 15 Joint Declaration and Peace and Protecting Rev. Han Sang Ryol" at a press conference on June 30 asserted the innocence of Rev. Han Sang Ryol, pro- reunification champion.

The press release read out at the conference recalled that the Seoul High Court at a trial on appeal made by Rev. Han declared him guilty.

It denounced the high court for making its decision for the mere reason that he called for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea during his visit to the north last year.

The press release noted that his call for the implementation of the above-said declarations is not the assertion of the north but a joint agreement made by the south and the north. It was an action against reunification that the authorities charged him with "sympathy with the north" for the mere reason he called for the implementation of the declarations.

It dismissed the recent ruling as totally null and void as it was the decision which infringed upon the freedom of expression in denial of the declarations.

People of various circles will launch a more dynamic movement for reunification to force the court to declare Rev. Han not guilty, declared the press release.
