Seminar on Kim Il Sung's Feats Held
Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- A national seminar was held in Conakry, Guinea on June 25 on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

On display in its venue were works of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the photos on their exploits.

Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said in a report at the seminar that Kim Il Sung fathered the Juche idea, clearly indicating the way of carving out the destiny of human beings. The exploits the President performed by providing mankind with a beacon indicating the road of independence and progress will shine forever, he added.

He recalled that the President extended firm solidarity to the peoples of those countries aspiring after independence and positively supported their struggle both materially and morally.

The floor was taken then by Boubakar Diakite, vice-chairman of the above-said committee, Abdoulaye Diallo, chairman of the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea, and other personages.

The speakers spoke highly of the revolutionary life of the President who performed the immortal feats for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence and the dynamic struggle being waged by the Korean people to build a thriving nation under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.
