Chinese Tourist Group Arrives in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- A tourist group of Shanghai people led by Shi Quanxing, chief of the Communist Party of China branch of the Shanghai Kumgang Tours Co. Ltd., arrived in Pyongyang by air on Friday.

It is the first Chinese tourist group to come to the DPRK through the Shanghai-Pyongyang air route.

During five days and four nights, the tourists will visit monuments in Pyongyang, the International Friendship Exhibition House, Panmunjom and other places.

Mt. Kumgang, one of the world-famous mountains, and historic relics in Kaesong area are also included in their tourism program.

Jo Song Gyu, director of the Korean International Travel Company, told KCNA that an increasing number of Chinese people are expected to come for sightseeing in Mt. Kumgang and other tourist attractions in the DPRK.
