British Branch of KFA Terms US Provoker of Korean War
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association (KFA) issued a statement on June 25 to mark the beginning of the month of international solidarity with the Korean people.

The Korean War started by the U.S. imperialists was a war of massacre of the Korean people, the statement said, disclosing the U.S. nature as aggressor.

What they sought through the war was to put the whole Korean Peninsula under their control and use it as a springboard for their world domination, the statement said.

They ruthlessly butchered the Koreans and unhesitatingly used internationally banned germ weapons and chemical weapons during the war, it noted.

The British Branch together with all other branches of the KFA calls for the U.S. forces' unconditional and complete withdrawal from south Korea, it added.

The U.S. should repeal all its hostile policy toward the DPRK and replace the Korean Armistice Agreement with a lasting peace agreement, the statement urged.
