Abolition of "National Security Law" Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Association of Victims of "National Security Law" (NSL) in south Korea held its plenary meeting for the abolition of NSL in North Chungchong Province on June 25 and 26.

Victims of the NSL made speeches.

The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors prodded the security forces into searching, arresting and walking away progressive forces by invoking NSL for political purposes, they said.

The Lee group is prolonging its remaining days by invoking the law just as its successive dictatorial regimes did, they noted.

The implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration is the only way for the Korean nation to achieve peace and reunification, they said, calling for raising the role of the organization in the movement for the country's reunification.

They vowed to work with the willingness to readily lay down their lives for the abolition of the NSL, the worst law standing in the way of the democratization of society and the reunification of the nation.
