Kim Il Sung's Death Anniversary Observed in Peru

| Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung led the Korean people to victory under the uplifted banner of anti-imperialist struggle, said Chairman Genaro Ledesma Izquieta and General Secretary Cati Campos of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru. They issued a joint statement on June 22 on the 17th anniversary of the demise of Kim Il Sung. The world admires the President who devoted his whole life to the cause of independence against imperialism, the statement said, praising him as the great leader of not only the Koreans but the progressive mankind. Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, is always alive as the sun of the nation, it added. |
