Iran's Leader Criticizes US Forces' Presence in Afghanistan

| Tehran, June 28 (KCNA) -- Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Seyed Ali Khamenei said the U.S. forces in Afghanistan stand in the way of recovering the security in the country. He said this at the talks with the Afghan president on a visit to his country on June 25. The U.S. forces' presence is a cause of misfortune and disasters of the Afghan people and the region, he noted. The Afghan people can settle their issue by their own efforts, he emphasized. |
