S. Korean Authorities Urged to Stop Hostile Policy to DPRK
Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- At least 20 women's organizations in Pusan, south Korea, denounced the Lee Myung Bak puppet group of traitors for its war moves. They called a press conference on June 24.

A press release said the new period of peace was open in the Korean Peninsula through brisk activities for reconciliation, cooperation and dialogue between the south and the north after the adoption of a joint declaration on June 15, 2000.

But soon after taking office, the Lee Myung Bak forces have worked hard to ignite a new war and called for a preemptive attack on the DRPK, driving the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase of a war, the press release noted.

It urged the authorities to withdraw their hostile policy toward the DPRK, implement the inter-Korean declarations and ensure the north-south cooperation and exchange to contribute to the reunification of the country. It also demanded that the authorities opt for concluding a peace agreement in the Korean Peninsula.
