Anniversary of Inter-Korean Declaration Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions and the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted articles on their homepages on June 15 and 19 to mark the 11th anniversary of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

The International Alliance posted photos of General Secretary Kim Jong Il receiving ex-President Kim Dae Jung and a delegation of media organizations of south Korea and an article, which said:

The June 15 joint declaration, adopted at the north-south summit in June 2000, solemnly clarified the principle of achieving Korea's reunification by its nation itself.

Its adoption marked a new milestone for struggle to realize the country's reunification, the long-cherished desire of the entire Korean nation.

The inter-Korean summit evoked a great sensation from among the south Korean public.

But the present authorities of south Korea persistently stand against the implementation of the joint declaration, the article said, calling for continued action of rejecting traitor Lee Myung Bak's anti-reunification moves.

The Nigerian National Committee, in an article posted on its homepage, elaborated on the fact that "By our nation itself", the idea of national independence and great unity and peace, has served as an eternal banner of Korea's reunification.
