Austrian Organizations Urge S. Korea to Make Policy Switchover
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- Austrian organizations urged the present south Korean authorities to make a switchover in their policy in the spirit of the June 15 North-South joint declaration. They released statements on June 15, the 11th anniversary of the joint declaration.

The Federal Leadership of the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation said the joint declaration serves as the banner of independent reunification to be invariably held aloft by all the Koreans.

It demanded the south Korean authorities stop the military provocation against the DPRK, ensure the right to wage trade union activities and immediately set free the detained trade union members.

It urged them to release such pro-reunification activists as Rev. Han Sang Ryol who is held behind bars for the mere reason that he visited the DPRK and conducted activities for reunification.

The Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna noted traitor Lee Myung Bak is resorting to every move to bedevil the north-south relations. Lee is increasing the danger of a war in the Korean Peninsula by faking up such conspiratorial farces as the "Cheonan" warship sinking and the Yonphyong Island shelling cases.
