Flood Kills 175 in Southern China

| Beijing, June 22 (KCNA) -- Flood left 175 dead and 86 missing as of June 20 in southern China. A total of 36.57 million people have suffered from the flood in 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. 1,642,000 people were urgently evacuated. The economic loss amounts to 35,020 million RMB. Y. Rescue operations are under way in the afflicted areas. |
