S. Korea: Police Hit for Human Rights Abuses
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- Members of human rights organizations and students of south Korea called a press conference outside the puppet Police Agency on June 16 to protest the fascist police's violation of students' rights.

At the conference speakers recalled that on June 10 the police authorities heaped insults upon on students while conducting a coercive investigation into them. At least 70 students were walked away while in action for demanding settlement of the registration fee issue.

Those students' action is just, the speakers said, strongly urging the police authorities to stop such violence of encroaching upon human rights and ensure freedom of assembly.

On June 15 the south Korean Federation of University Students in the 21st Century held a press conference in Seoul in protest against the police authorities' outrages.
