Lectures Given to Mark Significant Day of DPRK
Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- Lectures were given in Kyrgyzstan, Dominica, Guinea and Nepal between June 10 and 13 to mark the 47th anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and welcome his successful visit to China.

The chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan said that Kim Jong Il has turned the WPK into an invincible party united in ideology and purpose and strong in militancy and led the Korean revolution to victory with his Songun leadership.

His recent historic visit to China is a great event as it not only boosted the traditional DPRK-China friendship but also made signal contribution to global independence, he added.

The general secretary of the Revolutionary Alternative Party of Dominica praised the undying feats of Kim Jong Il who has strengthened the WPK into the party of President Kim Il Sung both in name and reality.

The chairman of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea at Kankan University of Guinea said that Kim Jong Il is the steadfast champion of ideology, the statesman attaching importance to ideology.

The achievements made in the DPRK prove that the Korean people will certainly build a thriving nation, he said.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the lecture in Nepal.
