If the navy base is built on Jeju Island, the U.S. forces will regard it as natural to use the base under the south Korea-U.S. "SOFA", the organization charged and continued:

The frequent call of U.S. warships at Jeju Island would further escalate the military tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

It declared it would join all other reunification movement organizations in the actions against the construction of the navy base, a threat to the peace on the peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia.
