During the visit he had talks with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev and met with Karim Masimov, prime minister of the country.

At the talks and meeting views were exchanged on matters of developing the bilateral relations in various fields and boosting cooperation in economic field in particular and issues of mutual concern.

Documents on cooperation were adopted during the visit.
