Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The Korea Literature and Art Publishing House recently published new long-length novels.

Among them is Sea in Flame. The novel about a Hero of the Republic, Kim Kun Ok, is based on the fact that the Second Guards Torpedo-Boat Flotilla sank a U.S. heavy cruiser with only four torpedo boats during the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953).

The Daughter of Farm is about a woman who has worked as chairperson of the management board of a cooperative farm for scores of years from her girlhood.

The second part of Sworn Enemy was also brought out. The history novel lays bare the murder of the wife of Kojong, the 26th king of Ri Dynasty, by the Japanese imperialists.
