Commenting on U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's remarks on the cooperation between China and African countries, the spokesman hoped that the countries concerned would view the cooperation in an objective and fair manner.

The spokesman stressed that China has never imposed its assertion on African countries nor has it used its aid to Africa for meeting its political purpose in full respect of African countries' right to independently choose their path of development.
