Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Start of His Work at WPK Observed in Iran and India
Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of Iran and India carried special write-ups accompanied with photographs of General Secretary Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of his start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The Iranian paper Iran News on June 8 carried articles under the title "Warm Congratulations to HE Kim Jong Il, Great Leader of the Korean People".

The paper in an article entitled "Developing the Workers' Party of Korea into an Invincible Party" said that Kim Jong Il is an outstanding leader who has not only developed the WPK into an organizational and ideological entity united around one centre and based on a monolithic idea and will but knitted close all the members of the society around the party.

It referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il has developed the WPK into a mass party which is deeply rooted among the popular masses and enjoys their absolute support and trust.

The paper in an article titled "Kim Jong Il and His Extraordinary Ideological and Theoretical Activities" says that the DPRK has turned into a socialist power, adding that this is attributable to his extraordinary ideological and theoretical activities and wise leadership. It edited photographs showing his works and a photo of the Tower of the Juche Idea.

The Indian paper Science Technology and Education News on June 8 in its article titled "DPRK, Single-minded Unity and Kim Jong Il" noted that the DPRK is a country of single-minded unity in which the leader, the party and popular masses are firmly united as one.

Another Indian paper Krishna Aberta on June 7 edited articles referring to the fact that Kim Jong Il displayed his noble personality as a great successor to the socialist cause and a popular leader while working at the Central Committee of the WPK.
