Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- The oldest wood blocks of the complete collection of Buddhist scriptures in the world are preserved in Pohyon Temple in Mt. Myohyang.

The 80,000 blocks, made in the period of Koryo, a feudal state of Korea (early 10th century-late 14th century", in 16 years from 1236, provides a glimpse of the nation's advanced printing technique.

The completion, printed on both sides, is made up of 1,539 parts and 6,793 volumes.

The blocks are still kept in their origin.

The completion is considered a world-standard one in the correctness of content.
