Lee Myung Bak's Reckless Remarks Flayed
Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak, wining and dining at Chongwadae on June 7, blustered that "he would defend something with "a firm stand towards the south-north relations" and "there is no retreat" and the like.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

What Lee uttered is nothing but ridiculous jargons to pass the buck for the provocation on the DPRK and divert the domestic and foreign public criticism of him for the collapse of the inter-Korean relations.

Citing facts to prove that the source and motive of having brought the inter-Korean relations to collapse lie in the policy of confrontation frantically pursued by the south Korean authorities and their reckless political and military provocations, the commentary notes, and goes on:

Lee was so stupid as to talk about "firm stand" and "no retreat", paying no heed to domestic and foreign public. This clearly suggests he was so seized with hysteria of confrontation with compatriots that he is bereft of even an iota of discretion and normal thinking power. Not only pro-reunification movement forces of south Korea but also organizations of different social circles and media are bitterly angered by the chief executive's reckless remarks about the issue of the inter-Korean relations and are strongly demanding him step down as early as possible.

No matter what rhetoric he may let loose to mislead the public opinion at home and abroad, it will get him nowhere.

What awaits the Lee group is nothing but ruin as it is making desperate efforts to realize its wild ambition for confrontation after bringing to collapse the inter-Korean relations directly linked with the destiny of the nation.
