Production Goes Up at Industrial Establishments
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments on the east coast of Korea have contributed to improving the people's living standard and building a thriving nation with increased production.

The Musan Mining Complex successfully blasted 150,000 cubic meters of earth this year to expand the mining area after quadrupling the earth-scraping capacity last year.

The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex built a high-temperature air combustion heating furnace based on CNC technology and reconditioned the oxidation furnace. It has made more than 100 technical inventions to increase the production.

The Puryong Ferroalloy Factory produces self-baking electrodes with anthracite as fuel.

The Songjin Steel Complex built an oxygen melting furnace and other facilities needed for increased output.

The Komdok Mining Complex has boosted production by giving precedence to pit construction and tunneling and raising the concentration rate.

The Tanchon Magnesia Factory has been newly furnished with a light burning magnesia production process through anthracite gasification, and modern packing container and tile production processes.

Increased production has also been reported from the Hamhung Woolen Mill and the Ryongsong Machine Complex.

The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex is stepping up the first series of the gasification project for fertilizer production.
