Steel Production Goes Up
Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Steel production is on the increase in the DPRK on the basis of fuel available in the country.

The Posan Iron Works of the Chollima Steel Complex has operated furnaces in a scientific way and introduced technical innovations to raise the production by 20 percent.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex is building a new steelmaking process to boost the heavy rail production.

The Chongjin Steel Plant has increased the production by readjusting the proportion of raw materials to fuel and bringing processes into proper correlation.

The Musan Mining Complex, Unryul Mine and Jaeryong Mine also play a big role in increased steel production.
