Actions of S. Korean Students and Citizens to Settle Registration Fee Issue Go on
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- South Korean students and citizens are carrying on their actions to have the registration fee issue settled, south Korean KBS reported.

Students affiliated with the south Korean Federation of University Students in the 21st Century and citizens held a candlelight rally in Seoul on June 4 and demanded the "government" opt for implementing its commitment to halve the registration fee and settle the issue of youth unemployment.

At the end of the rally its participants staged a demonstration.

The fascist police blocked their demonstration and walked off more than 20 demonstrators through merciless repression.

A candlelight rally was held on June 5, too.

Meanwhile, the Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea in a commentary on June 3 accused the hooligans of the "Grand National Party" of their base attitude towards the issue of the university registration fee.
