Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in an editorial:

The immortal feats performed in the construction of the power station are ascribable to the People's Army's full play to their transparent spirit of devotedly carrying through General Secretary Kim Jong Il's instructions as it has shared comradeship with him, a precious fruition of the great unity between the army and the people and a striking demonstration of the great potential of the Juche-based industry and their scientific creative power.

Soldier-builders, a-match-for-a hundred soldiers, created the Huichon speed and performed miracles in devotedly implementing the leader's instructions in the construction sites of the Huichon Power Station. They have clearly showed what noble phase their patriotic devotion and the sense of moral obligation cherished by the revolutionary comrades of Kim Jong Il, the descendants of President Kim Il Sung, have reached.

The high-pitched drive for a leap forward now under way in the land of Huichon represents the spirit of great surge in socialist Korea where the army and the people of the DPRK achieved unity in idea and struggle on the basis of the revolutionary soldier spirit.

The builders at the Huichon Power Station created scientific and effective methods of construction unprecedented in the history of building hydropower stations by intensifying the drive for self-reliance by dint of science and technology while looking out over the world while keeping their feet firmly planted on their own land.

They displayed the faith that Korea does what it is determined to do and indomitable mental power while widely introducing advanced science and technology. This was the master key to speeding up the project to the maximum.

The miracles and innovations performed in the project are brilliant fruition of the outstanding and tested leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The editorial calls upon all the officials, party members and other working people to give spurs to the advance for a great surge with the absolute trust in Kim Jong Il and the firm faith that there is nothing impossible for us as it is led by him.
