Equatorial Guinean President on Friendly Relations with DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Equatorial Guinean President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo met and had a friendly talk with a delegation of the DPRK headed by Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, on an official goodwill visit to his country at the state guest house of the president on June 4. On the occasion the president said the current visit of a high-level delegation of the DPRK proves the excellent relations of friendship between the two countries. Referring to the days of his visit to the DPRK, he said his country attaches importance to boosting friendly relations with the DPRK. He wished the Korean people under guidance of Kim Jong Il success in their efforts to commemorate with splendor the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung. |
