Japan's Reckless Moves for Overseas Expansion
Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- The Japanese authorities are frantically working to realize their ambition for overseas expansion.

As part of them, the Defense Ministry has set up its first full-scale, overseas base in Djibouti situated in the eastern area of Africa to be used by the Japanese Maritime "Self-Defense Force" under the pretext of "fighting piracy".

There are in the base the headquarters' building, dormitories, P-3C patrol plane maintenance hanger and other military facilities.

Reporting about this on June 1, the Kyodo News Service said that it is the first time Japan has set up such a full-scale base outside Japan.
