- Inverter Technology Center
Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Inverter Technology Center, located in Central District, has developed up-to-date technologies necessary for economic sectors.

It, founded in Juche 86 (1997), makes scientific researches and develops technologies concerning power and electronic industries.

Inverter equipment like inverter welder, high-frequency furnace and uninterrupted power apparatus made by the center have proved effective in many factories and enterprises.

In particular, the center developed a new kind of high-pressure inverter badly needed for iron and steel works and mines.

Pak Min Chol, head of the center, told KCNA the center would intensify researches in inverter technologies to meet the ever-increasing demand for inverter equipment.
