The meeting reviewed the achievements and experience gained in the work to support the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region over the past one year and discussed the work to be done in the future.

Prior to the meeting President Hu Jintao issued an important instruction to thoroughly carry out the plan for supporting the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
