Some time ago the chief executive of Taiwan said that the Taiwan side positively improved the cross-straits relations on the basis of "92 common understanding." In this regard the spokesman stressed that practice proved the peaceful development of the cross-straits relations brought substantial interests to the cross-straits compatriots, to those in Taiwan, in particular, as it was in conformity with the overall interests of the Chinese nationals.
