Single-minded Unity in DPRK Lauded by International Public
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- International public is praising the Korean people for building a thriving nation by dint of single-minded unity around General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Russian Society for Promoting the Study and Dissemination of Comrade Kim Jong Il's Works said that the revolutionaries of Korea held President Kim Il Sung in high esteem as the centre of unity and laid down their lives for him without hesitation. The Korean people are now dynamically advancing toward a thriving nation, rallied close around Kim Jong Il, the chairman added.

The Pakistani newspaper Baluchistan Times noted that the DPRK, though not a big country, has such tremendous might that even the U.S. styling itself the world's "only superpower" dares not provoke it.

The DPRK has strong military power but it has more powerful might than this, the paper said, stressing that the society in the DPRK forms a community in which the leader, party and masses are united by the same destiny.

The Nepalese newspaper Majodur noted that the Korean people repose absolute trust in Kim Jong Il and entrust their destiny and future to him. They have become a great and powerful people who enjoy prosperity thanks to their single-minded unity, the paper added.

The Mexican newspaper Unidad Nacional said the leader and people in the DPRK are firmly united not only in thought and purpose but in the sense of moral obligation, adding that this is the single-minded unity.

The general secretary of the People's Rally for Socialism of Democratic Congo noted that the Korean people are striving hard to build a thriving socialist nation and achieve national reunification, holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the centre of leadership.
