Young People Volunteer to Laborious Jobs
Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- An estimated 19,000 young men and women have volunteered to laborious jobs in different economic sectors in the DPRK from the beginning of the year.

Fourteen young workers of the Tanchon Mining Industry Construction Complex volunteered to join in the gasification project of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, 31 graduates from Phyongsong University of Education in the nature-driven drainage opening construction of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, graduates from Pyongyang Jangchung and Puksu secondary schools in the Komdok Mining Complex and graduates from Kaechok Secondary School in Taehongdan County in the construction of the Paektusan Songun Youth Power Station.

An Hye Song, a graduate from the Life Science Faculty of Kim Il Sung University, took a job in the Sowon Cooperative Farm in Pyoksong County, Jong Su Rim, a graduate from Pyongyang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University, in the Rihyon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District and Om Su Jong, a worker of the Changsong County Urban Construction Office, in the Insan Cooperative Farm in Changsong County.

Seventy-two graduates from Wonsan Orphans' Middle School found their jobs at light industry factories.

Many secondary school graduates in Pyongyang volunteered to work with floricultural farms and Pyongyang Textile Mill.
