Indonesian President Calls on NAM to Be More Proactive in 21st Century

Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, speaking at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Countries on May 25, called on the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to be more proactive to help sharp the new world of the 21st century.

He referred to the positive struggle waged by the NAM to build a more wonderful new world for the past half a century.

The NAM speaking for the interests of developing countries should further enhance its role for the world peace, security, development and prosperity in the future, he noted.
