The prime minister of Vietnam said this on May 25 when Kim Chang Il, DPRK ambassador to his country, paid a courtesy call on him.

We sincerely congratulate last year's successful Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea and wish the Korean people greater victory in building a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, he said.

Expressing support for the Korean party and government in the efforts to realize the peaceful reunification of the country, he said that it is the firm stand of Vietnam to give steady importance to the traditional relations with the DRRK and practically develop them in political, economic and all other fields.
