Crimes of Conservative Papers Slammed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- An Internet paper of south Korea on May 20 carried an article contributed by Yang Jong Chol, who was senior secretary for publicity and planning of Chongwadae during the preceding regime, to lay bare the crimes of conservative papers.

In the article he said that Chosun Ilbo, Choongang Ilbo and Dong-A Ilbo, conservative papers, have recently extended their influence even to broadcasting service under the manipulation of the present regime, thus arousing unease and concern from public circles.

The papers left no means untried to ensure the conservative persons' winning in each "presidential election", disregarding impartiality of media, the article noted.

When persons backed by them were defeated, those papers made personal attack and slandered the elected "presidents", finally driving them to death, it charged.

Their crimes can be also found in insisting on sycophancy and humiliation in diplomacy and inciting confrontation between the north and the south while openly slandering the preceding chief executives' policy of dialogue, it said.

Uncountable are the crimes the conservative papers committed by aggravating discord among society, speaking only for the interests of big businesses and providing conditions favorable for the conservatives to come to power again, it added.
