University Students' Volunteer Service Active in China

Beijing, May 23 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Education and other institutions of China recently issued a joint notice calling for successfully carrying out the planned volunteer service campaign of university students in the western region of the country this year.

The notice said it is necessary to encourage, through this campaign in different part of the country, many more university graduates to volunteer to the places called by the country and train themselves and perform feats there.
