Project for Laying Seawater Pipeline Makes Brisk Headway
Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- The project for laying the Nampho-Pyongyang seawater pipeline is going great guns.

The Pyongyang Bureau for the Management of Water Supply and Drainage System is pushing forward excavation for the pipeline and the construction of a seawater storage tank at a final phase in the wake of its successful completion of the pumping station for seawater supply.

Nampho City has almost finished the project for seawater deposition through a high-pitched drive for the seawater pipeline construction.

The workers of Nampho Port and the Ryongnam Ship Repair Factory have registered signal successes by increasing the operation rate of machines and equipment.

The Nampho Rural Economy Committee, the Nampho Koryo Medicine Production Management Bureau, the Nampho Essential Foodstuff Factory and other units have honored their quotas earlier than schedule.

The city is now directing efforts to the construction of water intakes, pressure pumping stations, etc.
