S. Korean Lawmaker from Opposition Party Chides Appointment of Only Old Acquaintances to "Government" Posts
Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- A lawmaker from the Democratic Party, an opposition party, on May 18 chided the present "government" for appointing old acquaintances only to its posts, according to the south Korean KBS.

He made it clear that there are many suspicions about the informal designation of Ryu Yong Suk as a candidate for the minister of Environment with a confirmation hearing at hand.

He disclosed the fact that Ryu as a church-goer has made a big donation to the Somang Church with Lee Myung Bak as a superior priest.

This fact proves that only those who go that church can become ministers under the present regime, he held.
