Seminar of International Communists Adopts Resolution on Korea
Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- The 20th seminar of international communists was held in Belgium between May 13 and 15.

It was attended by delegates of at least 50 communist and workers' parties from over 40 countries including the DPRK, Russia, Cuba, Vietnam, Belarus, Ukraine, Denmark, Democratic Congo, Egypt, Peru and Brazil.

The seminar discussed ways of further enhancing the role of the above-said parties under the present international situation and exchanged experience gained by each party and adopted a series of documents.

A resolution on Korea adopted at the seminar vehemently condemned the moves of the U.S. imperialists to provoke a war of aggression against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The resolution supported the June 15 joint declaration in 2000, the October 4 declaration in 2007 and the joint statement of the government, political parities and organizations of the DPRK.

It demanded the U.S. conclude a peace agreement with the DPRK and put a definite end to the Korean War.

It wished the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people success in their struggle for peace on the Korean Peninsula, Northeast Asia and the rest of the world and extended firm solidarity to them.
