Attending the wreath-laying ceremony were Kim Wan Su, director of the Secretariat of the C.C., the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea, officials concerned and Li Qingjiang, charge d'affaires a.i., and staff members of the Chinese embassy here.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers who fought bravely on the Korean front, and then looked round the tower.
