Programs for greening of cities have been renewed.

All cities have held prize contests of greening layouts suitable for their geographical features.

They have also expanded the production capacity of tree and flower nurseries and greenhouses and built seed farms.

Greening experts are trained by Pyongyang University of Construction and Building-Materials Industry and universities of agriculture.
