Halt to Four Large Rivers Projects Demanded by German Expert
Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- A German expert on river on May 4 sent a letter to the executive director of the UN Environment Programme demanding a halt to the four large rivers projects of the south Korean authorities, according to south Korean MBC.

He in the letter branded the projects as very irresponsible work as they lack an academic reason in the light of river engineering and ecosystem.

I do not understand how the south Korean "government" will preserve ecology while conducting the projects, he said, adding that it is the only right decision to stop the projects only seeking to bring profits to the construction business.
