China to Establish State Internet Information Office

| Beijing, May 9 (KCNA) -- The General Office of the State Council of China recently issued a notice on the establishment of the State Internet Information Office. The notice said that the main task of the office is to implement the line and politics on Internet information dissemination, give impetus to the institution of the law on the Internet information dissemination and lead and urge the relevant fields to strengthen the control over the contents of Internet information. The office will function under the Information Office of the State Council. |
