Chinese Paper on US Military Drone Approaching to China and DPRK
Beijing, May 6 (KCNA) -- China's newspaper Huan Qiu Shibao on Thursday carried an article titled "The U.S. military drone approaching closer to China and the DPRK" which disclosed the U.S. military threat growing more serious around the Korean Peninsula.

The paper quoted an article posted on an Internet website of the U.S. as saying that the U.S. military seeks to move to East Asia most of its drones used in the battles in Iraq and Afghanistan within four years so as to intensively monitor the military movement in China and the DPRK.

In particular the U.S. is scheming to deploy unmanned strategic reconnaissance planes of high performance, the paper noted, adding: Its purpose is to not only enlarge the ability and scale of lookout over China and the DPRK but also further strengthen the military cooperation between the U.S. and Japan.

It also disclosed that the U.S. seeks to ask its allies in the Asian Pacific region to open their flight zones for its high-altitude reconnaissance on China, the DPRK and other countries and offer information to the allies in return for their approval.
