China Slams US Interference

| Beijing, May 5 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry in a press conference on May 4 accused "the International Committee of Religious Freedom" of the U.S. of interfering in the internal affairs of China over the religious issue. The Chinese government is guaranteeing citizens' freedom of religion and belief by law and the Chinese people are fully enjoying this freedom in reliance on law, he said. He urged the Committee to discard prejudice, respect facts and stop interfering in the internal affairs of China by way of issuing a report. |
