New Health Foodstuffs Developed
Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry has developed various kinds of health foodstuffs.

Tea made of bellflower roots with their flavor and medicinal ingredients well preserved, is efficacious for removing sputum and lowering high blood pressure and fever.

Vinegar made of fermented bellflower roots is potent for high blood pressure, fatigue, aging, cancer, heart trouble and cough. It, which contains microelements, macroelements and various vitamins, improves physiological function.

Another health foodstuff is savory cake made of fermented beans, mixed with mung bean, glutinous rice, honey, fruit of Crataegus pinnatifida, sesame and taffy.

It activates the brain function and has a virtue for liver trouble, poisoning, diabetes, colitis, cardiovascular disease and cerebral thrombosis.
